Final score 10/10 Graphics - The graphics in the game are simply beautiful (even today) and it stands the test of time. The details in each stage, the various obstacles, enemies and gimmicks add a lot to each stage and there were times I wondered what would await me in the next stage. Final score - 7/10 Stage design - The stage design in a simple game is amazing, there is variety from one stage to another, for example at one stage you will be on a beautiful beach with lots of green surroundings and at another stage you will be on a snowy mountain. The characters are funny and fun to listen to in-game dialogues, maybe they are pretty silly and not fascinating in any way but in my opinion a fascinating plot in a platform game is something that is nice but not as important as gameplay and stage design. Final score - 9/10 Plot - The main plot of the game is almost non-existent, but it is fun and entertaining. And despite these two flaws the gameplay is just a smooth and clean flow that you can not stop enjoying just walking around the big stages and jumping. But the camera is a bit frustrating sometimes, sometimes it happens that I press the jump button and Jak does not jump and then I fall off a platform or hit me at the jump speed. And now let's start with the review: Gameplay - The game Jak and Daxter has survived the test of time well and is still fun to play and it feels very accurate with my pressures. If in Mario we need to collect stars to advance in the game, this we need to collect power cells which is the stars of the game, Orbs which is the money of the game you give to get Power cells and flies which meanwhile I do not know what to do with them but very fun to collect them.

Overall, Jak and Daxter is a great game, and anyone who ownes a PS2 or PS3 should definatly try it (maybe not on the PSVita though). The game doesn't really do much to let the player know how close they are to completing the game until you kinda of just stumble into the antagonist's lair and stop them, but considering that earlier games didn't do much to tell a story this is still a big step foward. Another problem I had was the story telling. Their are few minor issues I had with the game such as finicky controls and a few bad camera angles, but like I said those were minor. The characters are great and they help you get immersed in their great fantasy adventure. Normally I don't like open-world games because they generally make the player roam around with very little to do, but since this is a platformer, the whole world feels like a fun playground. I love that it's an open-world type of game that focuses on collecting. The gameplay itself is simple but fun you play as jak a silent protagonist who has a ability to use different eco power ups red makes you stronger and better attack power blue makes you faster and yellow allows you to fire progectiles.You also have your spin attack and punch attack and jumping of course.Daxter just sits on your shoulder through the entire adventure just to make comments on the area with his annoying vocie. The games core is that its a colectothon adventure action 3d platfomer much like mario 64 or banjo kazzoie.The open world tropical island still looks gorgous and the best part NO LOADING SCREENS YES YES YES MY GOD THIS IS AWESOME:) If I had a poblem that isn't that big that the story is very simple its just stop the bad guys from taking over the world and the characters mostly daxter can get annoying and the dialog in any of the games to me isn't very funny compered to banjo kazzoie.
